In addition to sunny beaches, world-class golf, and a luxury lifestyle, Naples offers both residents and visitors a stunning place to ring in the New Year.
Free from dense urban crowds and far away from winter's bone-chilling cold, make sure to start 2020 in one of these five amazing Naples hot spots.
What better way to welcome the New Year than with fine dining at one of Naples' most celebrated establishments—Sails Restaurant. The evening will feature two menus—a three-course dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with an optional fourth-course pasta dish prior to the City of Naples fireworks at 7:00 p.m.) or a late, five-course chef's tasting option from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Of course, it wouldn’t be a great night out without entertainment, with live performances running into the early hours of 2020. Pricing is $98 for the Early Menu and $275 for the Late Menu.
You can't have New Year's without fireworks, and the City of Naples will put on quite a show to kick off the decade's final few hours. Starting at 7:00 p.m. just north of the Naples Pier, the family-friendly pyrotechnics will last for nearly half an hour and feature plenty of special effects. Spectators are encouraged to come early, scope out a spot up and down Naples Beach, and bring a beach chair to enjoy this free show.
Want a little old school vibe to your New Year's celebration? Head down to the Mercato and the Blue Martini Lounge on December 31st for their Roaring 20s New Year's Eve Celebration. The party starts at 8:00 p.m. and lasts well into the morning, with doors closing at 4:00 a.m. In-between, there will be live music, dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight. Pricing is $60 pre-sale for standing room only and $75 at the door if available. Table packages are available for an additional charge.
Another favorite on the Naples dining scene, the New Orleans-influenced Whiskey Park, will celebrate New Year’s with Tommy and Paul's Real Deal Dueling Pianos. Serving an eclectic menu featuring classic favorites with a cajun flair, the night's cover includes party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The New Year's Eve party starts at 9:00 p.m., and pricing includes cover charge with regular menu items and drinks available for purchase.
Finally, stretch the party out a few more days and head to 5th Avenue South for one of the nation's top fine art shows—the 24th Annual Naples New Year's Art Show. The two-day event runs January 4th and 5th, 2020, and will feature over 250 professional artists from across the U.S. Admission is free, though donations benefiting Naples art education programs are welcome.
